The estateA park, a pool,
A park, a pool,
and a great deal of silence
Twenty hectares of Sarthe countryside, a château and its outbuildings. People come to sleep, to work, to marry — or simply to stop.
HistoryThree centuries
Three centuries
and a few families
The château was built in the 18th century, extended in the 19th, and turned into a guest house much later. The outbuildings once housed the stables; today they hold half the rooms.
We took the estate on with one idea: keeping it alive — open to travellers passing through as much as to long tables of guests, without turning it into just another hotel.

The places
What the estate is made of

The outbuildings
Former brick stables, now bedrooms — and the Orangery, the great room for dinners and parties.
The park
Gravel paths, century-old trees, horses and a pool set apart.
